LOTS OF FUN
NEW SKILLS, NEW FRIENDS.
The 12th Scout Group has recently relaunched at the mosque, with support from the local Scout District and the Muslim Scout Fellowship. Beavers are aged 6-8 years old and meet to have fun and make friends. Cubs are aged 8-11 years old and they begin to develop new skills while enjoying outdoors and adventure. We want to be able to encourage as many young people as possible to gain skills for life that will help them become positive contributors to society.
We also need volunteers to assist with the administration of the group so please do get in touch if you think you could help!
SCHEDULE
WHEN WE MEET.
Both groups meet on a Tuesday evening at the mosque and are led by volunteers.
We currently have around 30 young people enjoying scouting each week. With enough volunteers we would love to expand the group, to open a scout group for 11-14 year olds, and an explorer group for 14-18 year olds.
