Arabic is introduced with the Noorani Qa’ida. Islamic studies are introduced via the An-Nasihah books once the child reaches sufficient fluency in reading the Qai’da.
Classes are taught by Imam Siraj, Imam Abdul Rahman, Ustadah Haleema Quraishi, Ustadah Sumaiya Siraj, and others. All teachers have been DBS checked.
Islamic dress is encouraged for both boys and girls but is not mandatory.
The majority of classes are segregated and divided by age profile.
All teachers have been DBS checked.
All classrooms have CCTV.
Children must be collected from the classroom door.
All students will be under the age of 16.
Maktab fees are currently set at £300 per year for classes held on Mondays and Fridays, and £360 per year for classes held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is divided equally and paid over 12 months, meaning fees are £25 and £30 per month, respectively.
Children must be at least five years of age and able to visit the bathroom independently. The maximum age for enrolment is 14. Due to the high demand we are only accepting applicants who live in Sutton Coldfield (B72-76).

Due to the specialised support required for students with special learning needs, our Maktab classes are currently unable to accommodate such students.
We do not have the necessary expertise in-house to provide the appropriate educational support, we recommend seeking institutions that are equipped to offer the individualised attention and resources these students deserve.
